Key Purpose Statement

To provide 25 people with an opportunity to enrol for a National Certificate in Food and Beverage Packaging NQF 3. They will enter into a one-year, fixed term contract with Alrode Brewery during which they will undergo both on-the-job and off-the-job learning, culminating in a national qualification.

Output And Accountabilities

Learnership is a structured learning programme that combines off-the-job learning and on-the-job learning in an integrated programme. The off-the- job component covers more theoretical aspects of the learning with work-based learning providing the opportunity for application of the theory and the further practical learning experiences required. Further characteristics of a Learnership are: – A Learnership leads to a national qualification registered on the (NQF) Qualification Framework. – The qualification is based on SAQA (South African Qualifications Authority) registered unit standards – The unit standards are written to reflect value adding skills required in the workplace and contains the outcomes and assessment criteria – Competence is demonstrated in the workplace utilising a variety of assessment methods and using the assessment criteria as the standard of performance

The Standard Bank Specialised Sales Learnership is a learnership programme targeted at different roles within Specialised Sales in Standard Bank. We are looking for candidates in Gauteng, Kwa—Zulu Natal and Western Cape Only.

It is an 18 month intensive programme that consists of theoretical training together with practical workplace training.

Candidates are given an opportunity to work towards a formal qualification in Banking. This means that on successful completion of the 18 month programme, learners will receive a SAQA recognised NQF 5 qualification and an opportunity to be a part of the Standard Bank Specialised Sales team.

Learners Allowance

Successful candidates will receive a learnership allowance of R12 000.

Requirements:

The candidate must:

  • Be between the ages of 21-30
  • Be able to speak, read and write English
  • Have completed a 3 year Financial related qualification (degree/diploma).
  • Be computer literate
  • Not be permanently employed
  • Not be studying at any educational institution
  • Not be registered on any other learnership

The Recruitment Process:

Datacentrix: IT Learnership 2015

The learnership is moderated and approved by the MICT SETA and is also registered with the South African Qualifications Authority. During the 12-month training period, all learners receive theoretical training an MICT SETA accredited training provider.  Learners are given the opportunity to shadow subject matter experts within Datacentrix for “on the job” training which gives them work experience.

By the end of the 12 months,those passing the final exam will hold a MICT SETA National Certificate, which certifies that they’re capable of deploying, building, designing, optimising and operating technologies and can make the design and technology decisions necessary to ensure successful technology implementation projects.

Elegibility criteria

You must be an unemployed South African citizen with a matric certificate and under the age of 35.

You must have excellent communication skills and motivation for continuous improvement, geographic flexibility during projects is also essential.

The Standard Bank Financial Consultancy Learnership is a Learnership programme targeted at the Financial Planner role within the Standard Bank Financial Consultancy in Gauteng, Western Cape, Eastern Cape and KwaZulu Natal Only. It is a 24 month intensive programme that consists of theoretical training together with practical training and sales.What’s in it for successful candidates?
Candidates are given an opportunity to work towards a formal qualification in Financial Planning as well as to apply the necessary practical aspects of their learnings. This means that on successful completion of the 15 month learning programme, learners will receive a National Certificate in Wealth Management (NQF 5) and an opportunity to be a part of the Standard Bank Financial Consultancy team

Learners Allowance

Successful candidates will be required to sign an employment contract as well as a learnership contract. They will be paid a salary of R8 000 plus commission.

Responsible for assembling various parts associated with the transformer tank, which includes rolling, bending, cable boxes, etc. Must be able to read and interpret drawings and be prepared to work shifts and overtime when and if required.
