Salary: R199 308 – R273 396 per annum (plus benefits)

Minimum Requirements:

Diploma / Certificate in Health Promotion (NQF 5/6)
Grade 12
A valid driver’s license
Communication skills
Computer literacy
Relevant experience
Core Responsibilities:

Provide facility- and community-based outreach programmes, awareness campaigns, health information, education and communication (IEC) to communities to contribute to the overall health status outcome of the community by equipping individuals and groups with knowledge on disease prevention, healthy lifestyles and health promotion
Implement good governance and risk control processes to ensure compliance to legislation, policies and guidelines to prevent health risks, reduce medical litigations and prevent audit queries through effective governance and risk mitigation practices
Implement effective stock and financial control processes ensuring effective utilisation of resources by preventing wastage of health promotion material leading to audit queries or wasteful and fruitless expenditure
Provide quality health promotion services which is responsive to the needs of the clients / patients within the ambit of the values and guiding principles of the organisation to ensure that all clients / customers attending primary health care facilities are treated with dignity, respect and integrity and nurtured by a caring professional who is compassionate, committed and competent, values life and promotes optimal health outcomes
